Soledad Castaño, a former student of the Bachelor's, Master's, and PhD programs in Hispanic Studies, has participated in the initiative titled "Emerging Career Opportunities", promoted by UV Employment. The graduate shares her current professional experience as a research assistant in the Mapping the Scriptures in Western Sephardi Literature project, funded by the SNF (Swiss National Science Foundation), and as a predoctoral student in Digital Humanities at the University of Basel.
In the podcast, Soledad Castaño highlights that her experience in the Master’s in Advanced Hispanic Studies was key in leading her toward a hybrid education in Philology and Digital Humanities. Those interested will find useful information about resources, media for scholarly dissemination in the field, and key skills for pursuing careers related to Digital Humanities.
These hybrid profiles are particularly attractive for entering the job market in both private and public sectors, including companies specializing in Natural Language Processing (NLP), data analysis, Virtual Assistant development, and academic research at the university level, among others.
