The University Master’s Degree in Advanced Hispanic Studies: Applications and Research at the University of Valencia (Estudi General) was verified on 1 June 2010. AVAP issued its favourable report for implementation on 14 October 2011.
The master’s programme received an overall satisfactory assessment in AVAP’s report on the implementation of the degree, issued on 28 June 2013. In 2013, a modification was submitted to ANECA concerning the wording of the different sections. ANECA issued a favourable report on this request on 11 July of the same year.
The master’s programme received an overall favourable assessment in AVAP’s report on the renewal of accreditation, issued on 20 June 2016. In 2018, a modification to the Study Plan was submitted, which ANECA considered favourable in its report dated 29 November of the same year.
In the next accreditation renewal, the master’s programme again received an overall favourable assessment, as stated in AVAP’s report issued on 27 April 2020. In 2023, the requested modification regarding student admission and aspects of teaching planning was considered favourable by ANECA in its report dated 7 July 2023. On 27 January 2025, AVAP ratified the request to assign the degree to the field of knowledge “Philology, Classical Studies, Translation and Linguistics”.
