The Prometeo Project 2016/133 “Max Aub and the Confrontations of Historical Memory” was approved last September and is directed by Professor Joan Oleza Simó.
Between 2016 and 2019, the Prometeo Project 2016/133 “Max Aub and the Confrontations of Historical Memory” will take place. This is an excellence project sponsored by the Valencian Department of Education, Research, Culture and Sports.
The main three goals of the project are the following:
- To continue with a series of critic printed editions of Obras Completas by Max Aub, which was launched in 2001. The work has already twelve volumes published, four of them launched in the term between 2016 and 2019.
- To publish in digital format the volumes of Obras Completa’s editions that had been previously published in printed format and are now sold out, through updates and convenient revisions.
- To develop several studies about inner differences in the field of historical memory.
The research team of Prometeo Project is directed by Professor Joan Oleza Simó and is composed by the following Department of Spanish’s professors: Francisco José López Alfonso, Consuelo Candel Vila, Javier Lluch-Prats and Luz C. Souto.
In addition, this team also includes researchers in training who are currently doing their doctorates in the Department of Spanish: Gemma Burgos Segarra, Irina Enache, Ángela Martínez Fernández, Anthony Nuckols and Violeta Ros Ferrer.
