Prof. José D. Martín-Guerrero es licenciado en Física Teórica (1997), Ingeniero en Electrónica (1999) y realizó su Doctorado en métodos de Aprendizaje Automático (2004). Actualmente es Catedrático en el Departamento de Ingeniería Electrónica de la Universitat de València. Su investigación está centrada en el Aprendizaje Automático y la Inteligencia Computacional, con especial énfasis en el Aprendizaje Automático Cuántico. Es co-presidente y miembro fundador de la Medical Data Analysis Task Force (Data Mining Technical Committee, IEEE Computational Intelligence Society). También es miembro fundador de la Task Force on Explainable Machine Learning de este mismo comité y de la Task Force on Randomization-Based Neural Networks and Learning Systems (Neural Networks Technical Committee, IEEE Computational Intelligence Society). Ha organizado más de 30 sesiones especiales y workshops en los congresos más relevantes de su campo de investigación.

Dr. Adrián Suárez is an Assistant Professor at the Electronic Engineering Department of the University of Valencia (UVEG), Spain, since 2022. He developed his research as a member of the Communications and Digital Systems Design Group - DSDC at the UVEG. Dr. Suarez received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in electronics engineering from the University of Valencia, Valencia, Spain, in 2013 and the Ph.D. degree in electronics engineering from the University of Valencia, Valencia, in 2021. From 2013 to 2015, he was a Research Assistant with the Design of Communication and Digital Systems Research Group (DSDC), University of Valencia. Since 2015, he is working as Research Engineer within the Cátedra EMC, a collaboration agreement between the University of Valencia and the German and multinational company Würth Elektronik eiSos. Since 2017, he has worked as an Adjunct Professor with the Electronics Engineering Department, University of Valencia.

His research interests include the advanced characterization of electromagnetic shielding materials for 5G technologies and board-level shielding solutions. Dr. Suarez became a Member (M) of IEEE in 2012. He collaborates with the IEEE EMC Society through the Technical Committee 4 for EMI Control, specifically, in the workgroups focused on the Characterization of Shielding Effectiveness Planar Materials (P2715) and Characterization of Shielding Effectiveness of Printed Circuit Board Level Shielding (P2716).
