Prof. José D. Martín-Guerrero és llicenciat en Física Teórica (1997), Enginyer en Electrònica (1999) i va dur a terme el seu doctorat en mètodes d'Aprenentatge Automàtic (2004). Actualment és Catedràtic en el Departament d'Enginyeria Electrònica de la Universitat de València. La seua recerca està centrada en l'Aprenentatge Automàtic i la Intel·ligència Computacional, amb especial èmfasi en l'Aprenentatge Automàtic Quàntic. És co-president i membre fundador de la Medical Data Analysis Task Force (Data Mining Technical Committee, IEEE Computational Intelligence Society). També és membre fundador de la Task Force on Explainable Machine Learning d'este mateix comité i de la Task Force on Randomization-Based Neural Networks and Learning Systems (Neural Networks Technical Committee, IEEE Computational Intelligence Society). Ha organitzat més de 30 sessions especials i workshops en els congresos més importants del seu camp d'investigació.

Dr. Adrián Suárez is an Assistant Professor at the Electronic Engineering Department of the University of Valencia (UVEG), Spain, since 2022. He developed his research as a member of the Communications and Digital Systems Design Group - DSDC at the UVEG. Dr. Suarez received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in electronics engineering from the University of Valencia, Valencia, Spain, in 2013 and the Ph.D. degree in electronics engineering from the University of Valencia, Valencia, in 2021. From 2013 to 2015, he was a Research Assistant with the Design of Communication and Digital Systems Research Group (DSDC), University of Valencia. Since 2015, he is working as Research Engineer within the Cátedra EMC, a collaboration agreement between the University of Valencia and the German and multinational company Würth Elektronik eiSos. Since 2017, he has worked as an Adjunct Professor with the Electronics Engineering Department, University of Valencia.

His research interests include the advanced characterization of electromagnetic shielding materials for 5G technologies and board-level shielding solutions. Dr. Suarez became a Member (M) of IEEE in 2012. He collaborates with the IEEE EMC Society through the Technical Committee 4 for EMI Control, specifically, in the workgroups focused on the Characterization of Shielding Effectiveness Planar Materials (P2715) and Characterization of Shielding Effectiveness of Printed Circuit Board Level Shielding (P2716).
