IBSA iMBA alliance directors and professors meet in Valencia to discuss international higher education challenges and present the Ana Aroca Award.
From June 14th to 16th, Valencia hosted the 20th Summer Meeting of IBSA (International Business Studies Alliance), the partner network through which we offer the International Business Administration iMBA Master's degree. Over these three days, 26 directors and professors from partner universities shared experiences, discussed the current challenges facing international higher education, and worked on new initiatives to strengthen our academic cooperation.
The meeting brought together representatives from: Universitat de València, University of North Carolina Wilmington (USA), ESSCA School of Management (France), Hochschule Bremen (Germany), and Universidade do Porto (Portugal), which officially joins the alliance as a new partner.
One of the highlights of the event was the presentation of the Ana Aroca Award for Best Master's Thesis, which this year was awarded to John Lie Avng Andres, a graduate of the dual master's degree program between the Universitat de València and the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
His thesis, entitled “BRICS Equity Forecasting: Post-2019 Hybrid Linear Regression–Neural Network Models”, was highly praised for its academic excellence, methodological rigor, and valuable contribution to the field of international finance and predictive analytics.
