  • The Master’s Degree Final Project will consist in an original research work project of 18 credits (ECTS), carried out by the student.
  • The student must choose a subject from the list of research topics and tutors and get in touch with some of the professors responsible of such topic and consider the possibility of being supervising by him/her. The tutor will advise the student along the Final Project and must accept in writing the student (Supervisor acceptance form).
  • The report must include a certified page signed by the tutors (Certificated form).

 

  • Format:
    • The final project must not reach more than 30 pages from the introduction to conclusions.
    • Measure of the pages: 17 cm wide by 24 cm high.
    • 1,5 line spacing and single sided printed.
    • Text font: Times New Roman. Size 11 or similar.
    • On the cover of the project’s memory must appear the following data:
      • Universitat de València.
      • Master’s Degree in Medical Physics.
      • Project title.
      • Name of the student.
      • Tutor or tutors.
      • Submission date.

 

  • The project must have the following sections (TEMPLATE):
    • Cover
    • Certificated form
    • Acknowledgements: If applicable
    • Index
    • Summary
    • Introduction: It must be original and not a copy of other works or thesis already published.
    • Hypothesis and objectives: Must be as specific as possible.
    • Material and methods. If the project involves animal or human equipment, the approval of the Ethical Commission of the pertinent centre must be obtained. The material and the used methods must be described in detail. If the last ones are not originals, the authors must be quoted and a brief description must be written. It will contain also the statistical method used.
    • Results: It must be original and not a copy of other works or thesis.
    • Discussion: The obtained results will be discussed and compared to other author’s, mentioning their differences.
    • Conclusions: They must be concise, specific and consistent with the aims pursued.
    • Bibliographical references: The ones the student has used in the project only. They must appeared quoted along it.
    • Attached documents: If applicable
