“Thinking with others” is a workshop promoted by ASMI (Association for Child Mental Health from gestation). It is a space for reflection and debate on the reality of childhood and its environments. Attendance is free and open to people interested in childhood.
Mindfulness consists in being present in a conscious way, understanding what is happening and adopting an open and kind attitude. Breathing is the door that connects our internal and external worlds. To take conscience of something without analysing it we have to pay attention to our breathing, calm down our mind and develop kindness and self-knowledge.
These practices have been traditionally performed in many cultures, and nowadays it is hugely demonstrated their benefit to welfare and mental and physical health. Conscious presence generates attitude and behaviour changes towards us and our children.
