Once a student enrolls in the master's program and becomes a UV student, they have access to various support and guidance services. Some of these are specific to master's students, while others are general for all UV students. The services and the personnel and/or departments involved in orientation are as follows:
1) Specific to the Master's in Special Education:
- Master's Presentation Day during the initial welcome session. The program director provides information about the master's general structure and its academic and administrative management bodies, as well as how to contact both. Issues that have previously been made available to the student via the master's official websites are clarified: dates, schedules, locations, content sequence, and the structure of the course syllabi as a reference for the development of teaching-learning processes, websites where you can continue to find useful information about the master's program, its structure, and the UV's e-learning platform.
- Monitoring throughout the course, through the director and module coordinators in collaboration with student representatives. Likewise, the virtual classroom, virtual office, and the master's own website also serve as platforms for providing useful information for ongoing guidance throughout the program.
- Specific orientation meetings are held by the master's program directors for the internship and thesis modules. A general meeting is held with first-year students around March, and a second, specific meeting for the thesis is held around the end of the first semester of the second year.
- Additionally, the master's program director is available to answer specific questions via email.
2) The University of Valencia's Central Services carry out activities for all graduate students:
- Sociocultural activities for students.
- Personal support program through calls for study grants, mobility, psychological and pedagogical counseling, and sexological counseling, advisory programs, scholarship management, etc.
- Participation, association-building, and volunteerism activities, and advising for the creation and management of associations

- Support for student participation in the life of the center, by facilitating the Assembly of Representatives (**ADR) and the Student Board.
- Promotion of information dissemination for all student-oriented programs.
