Professor Carles Feliu José, specialist in Helminths and Full University Professor of Parasitology at the Universitat de Barcelona, participated in the Master’s Degree on 29 November 2016.

Professor Dr. Carles Feliu José has authored more than 150 publications in national and international scientific journals and 25 international and national book chapters.
Among his scientific achievements it is important to note the first description of the presence of Angiostrongylus cantonensis in wild rodents of the Canary Islands. This parasite species are the causative agent of the human cerebral angiostrongyliasis.
