On the past Friday, 20 October 2023 Dr. David A. Carmena, senior researcher of the ISCIII (Carlos III Health Institute) of Madrid centered on the molecular diagnosis of zoonotic diseases caused by protozoa, stramenopiles and microsporidia, has given an on-site lecture.

We were most grateful for his presence for the lecture on the molecular aspects of the autochthonous protozoosis. In addition, it was possible to delve into the way the current Cryptosporidiosis outbreak in the Aragón Autonomous Community is being diagnosed. The students enjoyed and learnt from the on-site lecture given by Dr. Carmena, thanks to his ability of disseminating his knowledge and scientific experience in an entertaining manner.
