Luis Díez-Picazo y Ponce de León (Burgos, 1931) joined the University of Valencia in 1964, coming from Santiago de Compostela. Díez-Picazo occupied the chair of Civil Law until 1974, when he moved to the Autonomous in Madrid. In Valencia, many specialists on Civil Law and numerous professionals of Law consider him an authentic master.
