The Universitat de València and the Colegio Alemán sign an agreement to improve their academic and scientific link and to stablish exchange relationships in the area of science, teaching and culture.
On Friday, the 17th of May of 2019, the Principal of the Universitat de València, Mª Vicenta Mestre, the president of the management board of the Colegio Alemán of Valencia, Víctor Olmos; and the director of the centre, Angela Droste; have signed a collaborative agreement between both entities to improve its academic and scientific link.
In the signing ceremony have also participate, on the part of the UV, the Vice-Principal of Employment and Training Service, Mª Adela Valero; the Delegate of the Principal for the Plan of Incorporation in the Universitat de València, Mª José Lorente: the Vice-Principal of Equality, Diversity and Sustainability, Elena Martínez: and the Vice-Principal for Internationalization and Cooperation, Carles Padilla. In representation of the Colegio Alemán has attended Susana Albiñana, technical director of the institution.
Through this agreement both entities commit to the Exchange of experiences and professionals in the area of teaching, research and culture. For that objective the following goals have been set: the mutual counselling, the exchange of information through informative seminars and guided visits to the installations of both centres, the mutual exchange of books, publications and other material for research and teaching, to collaborate in the programme “Adquisición de Conocimientos sobre el Mundo Laboral” so students of the Colegio Alemán can do internships in the Universitat, as well as to receive, on the part of the Colegio Alemán de Valencia, degree students of the UV that have to do internships oriented to teaching.
The Principal of the Universitat de València, Mª Vicenta Mestre, has highlighted the importance of the collaboration inside different levels of the educational system, reinforcing the international dimension of teaching in a world if global growth.
Like this, the Universitat de València is characterised, among other aspects, for an important politic of internationalization in which exists a commitment with programmes of international dual-degree or dual-postgraduate degree, including different universities as part of these dual studies, among which stand out the German universities.
The Principal has placed value on this agreement for its importance in the participation of students in formative programmes in both institutions.
