Noelia Ruano Piqueras holds a degree in Hispanic Studies: Spanish Language and its Literatures from the University of Valencia (2016-2020), where she also completed the Master's in Advanced Hispanic Studies: Applications and Research (2020-2021) and the Master's in Secondary Education Teaching (2021-2022). She is currently a predoctoral researcher in the Department of Spanish Philology at the University of Valencia.

She is a member of the Val.Es.Co. (Valencia, Colloquial Spanish) research group, and her research focuses on the study of spoken Spanish from a pragmatic perspective, particularly through the prosodic component. She is pursuing her doctoral thesis under the supervision of Dr. Antonio Hidalgo Navarro and Dr. Adrián Cabedo Nebot.
