Application for the University Degree Certificate

The application must be submitted through the Electronic Office.

To expedite the procedure, it is recommended to attach a copy of a valid National ID Card (DNI), Foreigner Identification Number (NIE), or Passport to the application.

Payment for the degree certificate must be made by debit/credit card through the payment gateway. Once the payment has been completed, the student will obtain a digitally signed PDF document certifying that the fees for the issuance of the degree certificate have been paid.

 

Delivery of the Degree Certificate

DELIVERY OF THE DEGREE CERTIFICATE

To the Interested Party:

  1. The interested party will receive an email at their University of Valencia (UV) account informing them that their degree certificate is available at the Faculty of Physics.
  2. An appointment must be requested through the following link. Collection hours are Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 14:00, and on Mondays and Tuesdays from 16:30 to 18:00.

  3. The interested party must attend the Faculty Office on the scheduled date and time, with a prior appointment, and must present a valid National ID card or passport.

If the degree certificate is to be collected by a person other than the interested party, there are two possible procedures:

Delivery of the Degree Certificate

  1. By means of a notarised power of attorney expressly authorising the collection of the official university degree certificate. The following documentation must be provided:
    • Valid National ID card of the authorised person
    • Photocopy of the valid National ID card of the person granting the authorisation

  2. By means of a power of attorney issued via the University’s electronic headquarters.

The authorised person must identify themselves with a valid National ID card or passport and must present the corresponding proof of authorisation.

Duplicate request due to loss

Procedure:

  1. The interested party must submit a request through the electronic registry, addressed to the Faculty of Physics, requesting a duplicate of the lost degree certificate*. The request must be accompanied by a photocopy of a valid DNI/NIE/Passport.

  2. Publication of a notice of loss in the Official State Gazette (BOE) is mandatory.
    The Faculty of Physics will manage the publication and will send the interested party the necessary information to proceed with the payment of the corresponding fees, which must be covered by the applicant.
    The notice must remain published for one month.

  3. Once this period has elapsed, a payment slip for the issuance of the duplicate certificate will be generated and sent to the interested party.

  4. After the fee has been paid, the Faculty will request the issuance of the duplicate from the Degree Certificates Unit.

* If it can be proven that the loss of the degree certificate was caused by the DANA, please consult the specific procedure established for this purpose.

Duplicate application due to deterioration

The interested party will request an appointment to present the damaged title and a photocopy of their valid ID card at the Secretariat.

Duplicate request due to data modification

At the Faculty of Physics, a duplicate receipt for the modification will be generated, the amount of which will be €27.34.

Once the payment confirmation is attached via TiquetingUV, the duplicate will be processed.

Application for Sending the Degree Certificate to Another Region or Abroad

If you are unable to collect the degree certificate in person at the Faculty of Physics, it may be sent to a Government Delegation/Sub‑delegation within Spain or, if the interested party is abroad, to the embassy/consulate indicated, subject to payment of the corresponding administrative fee.

Procedure:

1. Submit an electronic request through the electronic registry, indicating:

• Full name
• Scanned copy of your valid ID (DNI/NIE/Passport)
• Degree programme
• Contact telephone number
• Location where you wish the certificate to be sent

2. A payment slip will be sent to the applicant in order to pay the corresponding fees.

3. Once the fee has been paid, the degree certificate will be sent. The interested party must collect it personally at the location specified in the request.
