The director of the School of Engineering ETSE-UV, Vicente Cerverón has met with the Dean of the MIT School of Engineering, Professor Ian A. Waitz, to share experiences on talent attraction activities and the relations of the University with the Secondary Education and moreover to know first-hand outstanding initiatives such as MITES (Minority Introduction to Engineering and Science), MIT+K12 or the programme MIT STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math).

The ETSE-UV is also present this week in Boston in the Conference IJAS (International Journal of Arts and Sciences) presenting both, the set of activities the School carries out to motivate young people towards technology and engineering (Motivating high school students toward technology and engineering. The ETSE-UV experience) and the Internal Quality Assurance System of the UV based on management processes that guarantee quality and the continuous improvement of the education taught (BPM for Quality Assurance Systems in Higher Education).
