ETSE-UV graduates win the First and Second Award given by the School of Graduates and Technical Engineers in Telecommunications on the best undergraduate degrees Final Project national level.

ETSE-UV graduates win the First and Second Award given by the School of Graduates and Technical Engineers in Telecommunications on the best undergraduate degrees Final Project national level.

Antonio Cervelló Duato and David Brotons Alcázar, graduates in Electronic Engineering for Telecommunications at the School of Engineering of the Universitat de València (ETSE-UV), have been awarded with the first and second national award on “Liberalisation of Telecommunications”. This award is given by the Official School of Graduates and Technical Engineers in Telecommunications to the best Final Projects of the four specialities that are studied in the Degrees in Telecommunications in Spain.

The title of the project presented by Antonio Cervelló is “Weld Ultrasound Inspection System (WUIS)” and has been directed by Professor Jordi Muñoz Marí. This project has won the first prize in the specialty of Electronic Systems. In the same speciality, David Brotons has obtained the second prize for his project “Ergonomic Evaluator based on LabVIEW and time-lapse cameras”, directed by Professor Vicente Esteve Gómez.

From ETSE-UV we congratulate the awardees and the School of Graduates and Technical Engineers in Telecommunications for the initiative of the awards “Liberalisation of Telecommunications”.

ETSE-UV imparts the Degrees in Telematics Engineering and in Electronic Engineering for Telecommunications, as well as the Master’s Degree in Telecommunications Engineering and other degrees and master’s degrees in the ICTs area, and its graduates enjoy one of the highest levels of employability, an excellent professional recognition and usually have prominent positions in national calls such as the mentioned awards.
