This Thursday, the 5th at 3:00 p.m., we will have a visit by staff of the MathWorks Academic Group at the ETSE (classroom 2.1.1), who will give a presentation talk about the new MATLAB 5G toolbox.
They will teach some practical usage examples, specifically:
- LTE Toolbox
- Overview of 5G Toolbox capabilities
- Primary use cases, including end to end simulation and waveform generation
- Test model generation
- Link level simulation example: throughput measurement and channel impairment effects
- Beam search example
- Introduction to Wireless Waveform Generator App
- Applying RF impairments to 5G signals
Its objective is also to collect feedback from attendees on the use of this type of software in research and teaching.
