The presentation and the discussion of this second session will be conducted by the film critic Ramón Alfonso, with the participation by videoconference of Xavier Roque, researcher and historian of Science (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona) and Néstor Herran, Historian of Science (Université Pierre et Marie Curie, Paris).

Synopsis:

The War Game is a mockumentary, winner of an Oscar in 1966, which reproduces the chaos and social consequences caused by the hypothetical nuclear bombing in the English city, Rochester.

On the other hand, La jetée is an experimental sci-fi medium-length film that shows a devastated world after a nuclear war, in which time travels help are used for help.
