The films will be screened in original version with subtitles, with a previous presentation and a discussion

This film series has been coordinated by Irene Montoro (Aula de Cinema, UVEG). It offers a selection of films that deal with the complicated relationship between memory and the mood of people. Sometimes, in determined circumstances it is desirable not remember certain painful circumstances, however we cannot avoid this, and sometimes the opposite happens, when a loss of memory occur and it is impossible to remember. Then suffering, loss of identity, knowledge and the ability for doing everyday tasks appear. This is an inevitably and difficult process, both for who suffers it and for those around this person.
