This film series will serve for analysing to which extent new technologies have favoured fluent and permanent communication between people, and a greater access to information and culture.

The two first full-length films talk about the computer tools which are totally integrated in our daily life; the other two sessions focus on the analysis of social usages of such technologies: it will describe how these have meant an authentic revolution in the ways of interpersonal communication. This film series will serve for analysing to which extent new technologies have favoured fluent and permanent communication between people, and a greater access to information and culture. Or, conversely to what extent they have meant, tools for social isolation, for the avoidance of an unsatisfactory life which allow us to dream, for a moment, that we are other persons.
