The history of chemistry journal "Ambix" just published a special issue dedicated to the spaces of chemistry in the nineteenth century
Edited by Antonio García Belmar (University of Alicante) and John Perkins (Oxford Brookes University, UK), the issue includes a selection of papers presented at the conference Sites of Chemistry held in Valencia at the Lopez Piñero Institute for the History of Science and Medicine in July 2012. The three articles that form the volume show through various examples the importance of configuration spaces and its geographical location in the production and communication of scientific knowledge. Several members of the IHMC collaborate in the issue of Ambix. The news related to chemical history should be sent to Ignacio Suay Matallana (ignaciosuaymatallana@hotmail.com) for its publication in the journal Chemical Intelligence. Books related to the history of chemistry, chemical industry, pharmacy, environmental history and other nearby areas can be sent to José Ramón Bertomeu (Jose.R.Bertomeu@uv.es ) to be reviewed in Ambix.
