Synopsis:
Une affaire de femmes is set in the World War II (1939-1945). At this moment, life in the occupied France is very difficult. Marie Latour, a married woman decides to help her neighbor to terminate an unwanted pregnancy. Little by little, other pregnant women start to require her services, either because they have been raped or because their husbands are in the front lines. Meanwhile, Marie’s husband who is at home because a war injury, contemplates surprised how the family economy improves.
