Summary:
This documentary tells the story of Josefa Celda's search for the grave of her father, a farmer and member of Esquerra Republicana, and all the bureaucratic red tape involved in making the exhumation and transfer possible, along with the challenges faced by her mother. But it is also the story of the ‘women in black’; the mothers, wives and daughters who, every 1st of November, All Saints' Day, have been going to the cemetery since 1939 to pay tribute to their relatives, sometimes risking their lives.
Biography Óskar Navarro:
Born in Valencia on 25 May 1973. Graduated in Audiovisual Communication from the University of Valencia, Department of Language Theory, in 1998. He was an ERASMUS and BANCAJA Foundation scholarship holder for studies at the Faculty of Arts and Philosophy, Institute of Communication Disciplines, University of Bologna (Italy) during the 1995-1996 academic year. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Institutional and Business Communication. New Trends and Innovation Processes in Communication, at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Department of Communication Sciences, at the Jaume I University of Castelló, having passed the research proficiency test with an excellent grade.
