Connecting the public electronic services provided by Ajuntament de Torrent, Ayuntamiento de Alcobendas and Deputación de Ourense, to the Spanish eIDAS node through CL@VE 2.0 is a step closer thanks to the progress that partners in the eID4Spain20 project have made. More specifically, beneficiaries of the Action have carried out the requirement analysis and implementation plan that are part of the activities to be developed.

These tasks are vital to define the requirements and design the software implementation of the three regional authorities based on the documentation provided by Cl@ve Portal, and to analyse the context of the three organisations. This is not all, given that it also enables to design the necessary adaptation of their electronic services to allow the authentication of European Citizens by using the eIDAS node.

Moreover, building consortium competence and knowledge regarding the technical specifications for the project implementation and its relation to the mentioned regulation has been another goal to achieve. The consortium technicians have had the coordinator’s support, University of Valencia, to carry out these works.

In this sense, the implementing entities are aiming to perform cross-border authentication in line with the known as eIDAS Regulation. The European Commission's European Health and Digital Executive Agency (HaDEA) is co-financing this project through the CEF Telecom programme.
