The xShare consortium is launching an updated survey to better understand how standards and structures related to the European Health Data Space (EHDS) are being adopted across Europe. The questionnaire only requires around 15 minutes, the deadline is May 31st and target groups are EHR practitioners from Member States, health authorities, healthcare providers, industries and SDOs.
This survey builds on the 2025 edition, helping the xShare members to track progress, identify gaps, and better support implementation moving forward. It is possible to participate in the newer one here: https://ec.europa.eu/eusurvey/runner/EEHRxFSurvey2
Last year’s finding are available through this link. The xShare project has been working since late 2023 to propose its Yellow Button, which is to be featured on health portals and apps. The app will allow, effortlessly and using the European Electronic Health Record Exchange Format (EEHRxF), sharing the individuals’ health data across countries.
The capabilities offered by xShare will enhance diagnosis and continuity of care, contributing to life-saving research without compromising their privacy, review, manage, and even amend their health data and exercise their General Data Protection Regulation data rights.
