The EUROLogin20 project has been working, since its start in March 2021, to integrate the Digital Services Infrastructure (DSI) for electronic identification (eID) into the systems of the three participating European Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) providers. This integration is a key element in enabling European citizens and businesses to digitally identify themselves in order to carry out transactions or any type of management, regardless of their country of residence.

The European Commission co-finances this initiative, which is part of efforts to ensure cross-border mobility and support the Digital Single Market, through the CEF Telecom programme managed by HaDEA. Generix, Nubilaria and headOn, from France, Italy and the Netherlands respectively, are part of the Action.

To meet the proposed objectives, the beneficiary entities have reviewed the technical requirements for connecting the systems to their respective national eIDAS nodes in order to design their software solutions integrating the eID and under the relevant security conditions. They have also developed a scheduled execution plan for each individual implementation activity.

The partners have contacted their respective national service of the eIDAS node and formally requested the support of an operator. They have also worked, among other tasks, on the analysis and design of the electronic identification module to be implemented and integrated in the selected electronic services of the implementers during the next activities listed in the planning.
