Members of the AS4EDI2020 consortium, a project coordinated by IRTIC and co-funded by HaDEA, are carrying out the final connectivity tasks before the conclusion of the initiative this September. Each implementing partner is carrying out interoperability tests with at least two other participating access points (APs), among other tasks.

AS4EDI2020 will promote the use of the eDelivery Digital Service Infrastructure (DSI) among public and private entities through the integration of the AS4 profile in 6 APs by the implementing participants. In this sense, it will enable a large number of European entities to use the AS4-compliant eDelivery services provided by the consortium members.

In the framework of these activities, each implementing participant is operating its own AP in production and passing interoperability tests under the supervision of the coordinating entity. The operation of these APs will benefit a large number of customers in different Member States, ranging from public institutions to businesses, as it will contribute to the extension of eIDAS Electronic Registered Electronic Delivery Services (ERDS) and the use of secure encrypted communication between public administrations, businesses and citizens.

Validated ID from Spain, Pantarei Soluzioni Informatiche, S.A.T.A. and Promofarma from Italy, Ionite from the Netherlands, Globaltnet from Latvia and Goldman from Cyprus are part of the initiative coordinated by the University of Valencia.
