The University Institute on Robotics and Information and Communication Technologies (IRTIC) of the University of Valencia participates as a technological partner in the European project Construction Blueprint 2. The initiative will address from 2024 to 2027 the current challenges of the construction sector through a joint strategy of cooperation for the development of skills that will boost vocational training and professional qualifications in this field at European level, especially in terms of digitisation, sustainability and energy efficiency.
The University Institute on Robotics and Information and Communication Technologies (IRTIC) of the University of Valencia participates as a technological partner in the European project Construction Blueprint 2. The initiative will address from 2024 to 2027 the current challenges of the construction sector through a joint strategy of cooperation for the development of skills that will boost vocational training and professional qualifications in this field at European level, especially in terms of digitisation, sustainability and energy efficiency.
Construction Blueprint 2 brings together more than 30 entities from 12 countries, including sectoral organisations, training centres, trade unions and universities. The Construction Labour Foundation is coordinating the initiative, funded by the Erasmus+ programme.
Through the ARTEC research group, IRTIC will contribute to the project through the design and development of innovative digital tools, accessible and adapted to the needs of the construction sector, as well as oriented to vocational training (VET). The group has extensive experience in European projects linked to education and employability.
Participation in Construction Blueprint 2 reaffirms IRTIC's commitment to social and technological transformation, working on projects that promote more inclusive, modern training aligned with the green and digital transitions.
