The project CHEC² - Challenging the Health Effects of Climate Change is the initiative that IRTIC wishes to coordinate in the Horizon Europe program call "HORIZON-MISS-2023-CLIMA-01: Demonstration of climate resilience solutions in support of the implementation of the Adaptation to Climate Change Mission". Its estimated duration will be 36 months, the budget will be around 18 million euros and partners interested in participating can contact the research institute through the address chec2@irtic.uv.es until June 30th.
The action will be in line with the Adaptation to Climate Change Mission's objectives to mobilize at least 150 regions to test the most locally needed solutions to increase climate resilience and to conduct at least 75 in-depth demonstrations of systemic transformations for climate resilience.
For this call, IRTIC is looking for EU partners involved in activities related to the climate challenge such as local and regional authorities related to health, emergency management and health impact; public and private research organizations, transnational health organizations and NGOs. Interested entities that fit this profile can send their contact information, as indicated above, to chec2@irtic.uv.es.
To encourage the development of innovative technologies with useful applications for citizens and organizations, IRTIC has promoted the Join Consortium platform, from where it will announce calls such as the present one, where interested entities can send their information to be taken into consideration. Through this tool, it is possible to access more details about CHEC².
