On June 4th, 2025, the pilot test of the REASiG-NA project took place at the facilities of CPS Infraestructuras Movilidad y Medio Ambiente, with the participation of researchers from the University Research Institute on Traffic and Road Safety (INTRAS) and Vicente Montesinos, Head of the Planning, Mobility and Network Management Service of the Metropolitan Transport Authority of Valencia (ATMV).

The project is an initiative funded by the Spanish State Research Agency within the framework of the 2021–2023 State Plan for Scientific, Technical and Innovation Research, and represents an important step forward in transport planning thanks to the vehicle and driver optimization functionalities it offers, which in turn are complemented by environmental and demand-forecasting features.

As a result, the different functionalities were validated using GTFS (General Transit Feed Specification) files from bus lines currently in operation, provided by ATMV. In addition, future lines of work were proposed to enhance the tool’s attractiveness and market potential, which will be addressed soon.
