Last Saturday, May 16, Prof. Dr. Francisco Alonso participated in the seminar “Empirical Research on Road Crime”, organized within the framework of the UNED Diploma of University Expertise in Road Traffic Offences.
His presentation, entitled “Traffic Offending Behaviour from a Psychological Perspective: Analysis of Compliance and Sanctioning Responses”, addressed highly relevant issues in the field of road safety, such as compliance with traffic regulations and their social perception from a psychological perspective. It also highlighted the importance of understanding the factors influencing users’ behaviour in order to design more effective prevention and sanctioning strategies.
