The Agreement is aimed at establishing a mixed frame of collaboration between the UV and the Conselleria d’Educació, with the aim of taking care of students with special education needs derived from disability, specially referred to the awarding of individual aids. the study of the best possible adaptation and the optimization of public investments done during the students’ whole university educative period.

Duties of the Universitat de València will be:

• Requesting temporary transfer of specific technical aids (non-modulated individual material) for those students who are to take studies within this university and who have been awarded with the aids referred to the previous educational process.
• Taking care of the expenses derived from these materials, watching over their integrity and granting their return to the Conselleria D’Educacio at the moment the student is given new material for the same aim.

Studying and assessing in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and the demand established by the Conselleria d’Educació, the existing support output for the concrete characterises of the user with special education needs in a non-university scope.

On its part, the Conselleria d’Educacio assumes the duties of:

• Authorising the temporal transfer of those individual techniques which have been assigned in the compulsory education period, Bachillerato or vocational training courses to students with disabilities who are to continue their academic training at the UV, as long as the high degree of adaptation of these aids hampers the re-use by other students taking non-university courses.
• Requesting the UV’s collaboration for assessment referring to the adaptation of the existing supporting products for specific cases in which students require a high degree of adaptation in the curriculum access materials.
