The Agreement aims the educational collaboration between both institutions, collaboration which will be carried out by the Territorial Delegation of the ONCE in Valencia and the Universitat de Valencia.

The general aims established in this agreement are:

• The reciprocal training: both the ONCE and professionals and students of the UV and from there to education professionals of the ONCE.
• The joint research in projects and programmes of common interest.
• The full integration and socio-educational normalization of students with visual impairment at the UV in its various fields and aspects.

For this, different clauses referring to:

• Training, which includes direct or specific collaboration of the ONCE technicians in the classrooms of the faculties that requires it; or in courses, sessions, seminars, work groups, etc., organised by the UV; the joint organisation of courses, sessions, seminars, conference series,... relating to training of people with visual disabilities; and those programmes or activities which are considered of interest by the Technical Committee of Monitoring. Also includes the training by the UV for the ONCE professionals of Education, on subject matters such as: research techniques, educational reform, assessment and diagnosis, etc.
• Research in which design, implementation and assessment of those projects of research related to education and training of people with visual disabilities will be jointly worked.
• Integration, that includes aspects very diverse that reflect the commitment of the UV and the ONCE for favouring the educational regularisation of people with visual disabilities through procedures and mechanisms for this purpose.
