Universitat i Societat in Benetússer arises from the firm commitment of Benetússer Town Council to lifelong learning, with the support of the University of Valencia. Universitat i Societat is aimed especially at students from the municipality and its surroundings and is aimed at people aged 30 and over with an interest in learning and motivation for culture.
It is implemented in Benetússer through a multidisciplinary itinerary of 360 hours, distributed in three academic courses of 120 hours each.
University and Society in Benetússer presents various contents distributed among:
- The core subjects for the 2024/2025 academic year. There are four per year, with 24 hours each. They provide a basic introduction to various subjects.
- Course Plus I: Contemporary History, Art Architecture II, Applied Cognitive Neuroscience: Health, Spanish Judicial System
- The conferences. They include a wide range of topics of general interest.
