The general objective of the great cities’ sustainability is to act upon urban models for territorial organisation, with the aim of creating a configuration that eases a better energetic efficiency, an increase of the mobility and accessibility among people and the distribution of goods and services, increasing the accessibility and human connectivity and social cohesion. Ultimately, it aims to make possible a better life quality for the whole population.

In this regard, as a result of the collaboration between the Universitat de València, through the Office of the Vice-Principal for Territorial Projection and Participation and Valencia City Council, this event for collective reflection about the economy of the city of Valencia and its territorial environment is organised. A reflection based in the territorial development, where a series of experts will address in their interventions the basic principles of the city development through territorial resource, external and internal networks and the processes of business and social innovation.
