The Office of the Vice-principal for Territorial Projection and Participation organises the lectures series of the programme University and Society at Massamagrell. This initiative arises from the commitment of the City Council of Massamagrell, with the support of the University of Valencia, for training throughout life.

The lecture series aims to complement the courses of the programme, whose first academic year started on October 2013. The lectures are addressed to people resident in the town and the region of the Horta Nord, who have the desire to learn and are motivated by culture.

In this last lecture of the academic year 2013-2014 will participate the Full University Professor Aurora Seco Torrecillas, of the Department Chemical Engineering of the ETSE, with the lecture “Pasado, presente y future de la depuración de aguas residuales” (Past, present and future of waste water treatment).
