Universitat i Societat in Cullera arises from the firm commitment of the City Council of Cullera to lifelong learning with the support of the University of Valencia. Universitat i Societat is aimed especially at students from the municipality and its surroundings and is aimed at people aged 30 and over with an interest in learning and motivation for culture.
It is implemented in Cullera through a multidisciplinary itinerary of 120 hours, each year changes the theme of the modules of the Plus course.
Universitat i Societat in Cullera presents various contents distributed among:
- The core subjects for the 2024-2025 academic year. There are four per year, with 24 hours each. They provide a basic introduction to various subjects:
- Course Plus: Journalism and audiovisual communication, astronomy II, mythology and modern history.
- Conferences. Monthly cycle that includes a varied offer of topics of general interest.
