Universitat i Societat in L’Eliana emerges from the strong commitment of the City Hall of L’Eliana for the over the life training, with the support of the Universitat de València. Universitat i Societat is specially addressed to people of the municipality and its surroundings and destined to people of over 30 years old and with curiosity for learning and motivation for culture.

It is set up in L’Eliana through a multidisciplinary 360 hour itinerary divided into three 120 hour academic courses each.

Universitat i Societat in L’Eliana presents several contents distributed in:

• The core subjects. Four each course, with 24 hours each subject. They guarantee a basic introduction to several subjects;
• First course: Language and Literature, Contemporary History, Sociology, Astronomy.
• Second course: TICS, Psychology, Contemporary Spanish History, Tourism.
• The conferences. They include a varied offer of topics of general interest.
