The main objectives of the creation of the Valencian Archives of Design (VAD) are to compilate, catalogue, and preserve all materials related to design.

Research staff on design and contemporary culture must be allowed to access to digitalised documents via online consultation, as well as original documentation, to analyse the processes of creation, production and dissemination of design.

The VAD will facilitate the access, publishing and exhibition from its collections.

The VAD is committed to promote and encourage the apprecieciation of the contributions of design to the culture and the economy of our societies.
