About myself: I work as an associate postdoctoral researcher at the Instituto de Física Corpuscular in Valencia, Spain. I carry out research on theoretical aspects of gravitational physics. My interests so far have focused on three main areas: black holes, cosmology, and quantum gravity. In particular, I have studied the properties of quantum fields in curved space with emphasis on the process of black hole evaporation via Hawking radiation and the generation of primordial perturbations during inflation. I am also working on the possibility of explaining the recently observed cosmic speedup in terms of dynamical equations different from those of General Relativity. Currently I am also exploring different approaches to Quantum Gravity. My work is carried out in collaboration with other researchers at Penn State in Pennsilvania (USA), UWM and UW-BC in Wisconsin (USA), LSU in Louisiana (USA), Karl-Franzens-Universität in Austria, and IEM-CSIC and IFIC-CSIC in Spain. You are invited to browse my publications for more details on my work.
