The Institutional and Corporate Chairs of the Universitat de València were established in 1993 to facilitate long-term collaborations between the UV and various entities, institutions, corporations, organisations and even individuals.
The UV Chairs are designed as collaborative tools for corporations and external institutions, both public and private.
Due to their structural characteristics, the UV Chairs enable stable and wide academic collaboration across many areas of knowledge, extending to all the areas of the university activity, including teaching, research, innovation and dissemination of science, technology and culture.
AIMPLAS (Technological Institute of Plastics) is a leading technological centre for research, development and innovation in the field of plastics and composite materials. Founded in Valencia in 1990, the Institute offers consultancy,, applied research, training and development of research services in various sectors related to plastics, such as the automotive, packaging, construction and agricultural industries, among others.
