As part of the 8th Dialogue for Social Responsibility’s framework hosted on 2 December, the resolution to the Undergraduate and Master’s degrees final projects on Sustainability and Circular Economy in the Plastics Sector, driven by the AIMPLAS-UV Chair, was made public.

A total of 15 proposals were registered for this call, out of which 62% of the participants were women and 38 % were men. Moreover, 69% of the projects were from Master’s degrees and 31% from Undergraduate degrees. The most represented degrees were the Master’s degree on Chemical Engineering, the Master’s degree on Environmental Engineering and the Undergraduate degree on Chemistry.

The jury was composed by Prof Marina P. Arrieta (Technical University of Madrid), Prof Daniel García and Prof Marta Carsí (Technical University of Valencia) and Prof Christopher Whiteoak (University of Alcala).

In this edition, three awards and five honorary mention prizes were given:
