Goals
- Cognitive analysis of the process of solving large set estimation problems, focusing mainly on aspects related to performance, flexibility and adaptability, both with students in compulsory education and with future teachers;
- Affective analysis of the problem-solving process, focusing on the impact of affective and motivational aspects in the resolution of mathematical problems, both with students in compulsory education and with future teachers;
- Cognitive and affective analysis of the mathematical problem solving process of future teachers;
- Studies on the history of algebra and its teaching in classical Arabic algebra in the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries in Spain;
- Teaching materials on problem solving, arithmetic, algebra, modelling and ratios and proportions for primary and secondary schools.
