Migration processes, whether voluntary or forced, are complex and dynamic phenomena causing social, cultural and identity transformations in migrants and in the receiving societies. Therefore, they contribute to cultural diversity, to the modification of cultural patterns and to the evolution of literary and artistic manifestations in a broad sense.
The main activity of the HYBRIDA Group is to promote and investigate new forms of literary and artistic creation that are driven by new identities, diasporic or cross-border, arising from the contact of different cultures, mainly as a result of migratory processes, paying special attention to cultural production in French and taking cultural, post-colonial, gender and sexuality studies as a reference.
The HYBRIDA Group is coordinated by Dr. Domingo Pujante González, from the Department of French and Italian at the Universitat de València.
