Once the university studies leading to the award of the doctoral degree have been successfully completed, the interested person may apply for the issuance of the corresponding degree certificate at the Doctoral School.

In order to submit the application, it will be necessary to wait until the Administrative Services of the Doctoral School notify the obtained grade via the institutional email account (@alumni.uv.es).

The application must be submitted through the Electronic Office of the University of Valencia (SOLTIT procedure):

In the field “Email address for electronic notifications”, the institutional email account (@alumni.uv.es) must be entered.

Payment of the degree fee will be made by credit card through the payment gateway.

The interested person may obtain the certificate of deposit of the degree in a digitally signed PDF document.

If the interested person submitted the deposit application through the DOC-TES16 procedure, once the Doctoral School communicates the obtained grade, they will be sent the necessary instructions to apply for the degree. In this case, the procedure will not be carried out through the SOLTIT procedure.

Collection of the Doctoral Title

The title will be collected by the person concerned prior identification by ID card or passport in force. In addition, the Doctoral title may be collected by a third person, provided that he or she is reliably identified with his or her ID card or passport and is duly authorised by power of attorney. The power of attorney shall be legalised or notarised if it comes from a foreign entity.

The Doctoral title may also be sent by postal mail upon request by the interested party, who must specify the address for shipment, which must be:

• In Spanish territory: any of the Spanish government delegations.
• Abroad: any seat of the Spanish embassies or consulates abroad.

- Shipping to Spain 
- Shipping to Europe
- Delivery to other countries
