The transformation of an economic model towards a circular economy offers great opportunities for businesses and society as a whole. This involves incorporating new processes and new ways of operating that are more efficient and sustainable at an economic, social and environmental level.
Meeting the challenge of implementing a new model based on the circular economy will only be possible through the collaboration, participation and involvement of the whole of society, not only public administrations but also all economic sectors, social agents and, in particular, consumers and citizens.
In order to contribute to a greater understanding of this challenge, the TME-Circular Economy Chair has organised a series of weekly online seminars during the month of November.
The next conference will take place on Thursday 27 November from 12:00 to 13:00 under the title: 'Assessment of the feasibility, efficiency and sustainability of water reuse projects in the industrial sector'.
It will be led by Dr. Lledó Castellet Viciano, researcher at the Water Economics Group.
