The 2027 European Prize for Women Innovators offers an opportunity to gain European recognition for women's work and to inspire the next generation of innovators.

Jointly awarded by the European Innovation Council (EIC) and the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), this prize recognizes women who drive groundbreaking innovations and successful businesses across Europe. It highlights leaders who transform bold ideas into real-world solutions, helping to narrow the gender gap in innovation.

In 2027, the prize will be awarded in three categories:

Women Innovators: For founders and co-founders from across the EU and Horizon Europe associated countries. The winner will receive €100,000, while the two runners-up will receive €70,000 and €50,000, respectively.

Rising Innovators: For young innovators under the age of 35. The winner will receive €50,000. Second and third-place finishers will receive €30,000 and €20,000, respectively.

EIT Women Leadership: For exceptional members of the EIT community whose innovation and leadership are making a significant impact. The winner will receive €50,000. Second and third-place finishers will receive €30,000 and €20,000, respectively.
