The European Commission requests opinions on the review of the rules on State grants to services of general economic interest (SIEG) to tackle the question of affordability of housing.

Significant investments are needed to satisfy the deficit of investment in affordable housing. The measures of State help can contribute to incentive necessary investments.

Any citizen, company public authority or association that has interest can contribute answering to the call of data or to the general questioner of public consult published today. It is possible to contribute until 31 July, 2025. The call of data and the public enquiry are available in the twenty four official languages of the EU through the portal «Tell us your thoughts».
