Summer course: The European Union in a Changing International Community: Enlargement, Current Challenges and New Perspectives | Gjirokaster, UNED, 22-24 julio 2025 #cursosdeveranoUE
The course proposes to analyse the main challenges that the European integration must confront in the current changing geopolitical scenery. This way, topics such as European defence, common exterior politics, interior market, EU politics before climate change, the new digital era introduced by the Big Data and the use of Artificial Intelligence, as well as the possible amplification of the EU, will be discussed.
In this last point, issues related to the future adhesion of Albany will be tackled. A State that for their location in the geopolitical space of the Balkans, and for their economic and democratic evolution possibilities as a member of the EU results of special interest when valuing the vitality of the European project and the differential advantage that their member States offer.
